My Santa sample sessions have mom or dad wearing Santa's boots and pants. We provide the pants, boots, milk and cookies...you provide your adorable child/children! These are 10 minute sessions that cost $10 per child and you must order the day of the session. Packages start at $59. The last sessions guaranteed for Christmas are this week!

Profile Picture Party! December 4th 5-8pm

Join us for a fun event at the studio during the December 4th Gallery Hop from 5-8pm.

We will have appetizers, refreshments, specials on sessions, information on our new Simplicity Sessions, good cheer and good friends! In addition, izzilu studios will have jewelry for sale - just in time for the holidays!!! Also, we're having a HUGE sale on display photographs, in-stock frames and in-stock notecard!

Here's the scoop on the profile pic party...

1. come to the hop at the studio

2. take 5 minutes to let me snap some casual photographs that capture you and your unique personality

3. pay $20 for 3 digital images ($20 is for one person - add $5 more per person in the photograph, i.e. 1 person & 3 pics =$20, 2 people & 3 pics =$25, 4 people & 3 pics =$35) If you would like more than 3 pics, they are $5 for each additional digital image.

4. choose the photos you would like

5. we'll email them to you or load them on Facebook for you

6. if you like them so much that you would like a print of the image - prints will be half off the regular price for the evening, after that - they will be the regular price

It's that simple!

The digital images include the right to use them on your computer, Facebook, MySpace, iPhone, wherever you like!

If you like, bring a simple prop - like sunglasses, a scarf, a hat...we may even turn the fan on you!

Life is interesting. So much of our attitude toward life is determined by circumstance. Every day brings different and new opportunities that come with their own challenges and blessings. No matter how good or bad things may be for us, we have choices to make. We make decisions to believe that "Life Rocks" or that "Life Stinks." When our perspective is "Life is Good" no matter what circumstances bring for us, challenges come in a new light.

We are nearing the end of what may have been an incredible year, a horrible year or something in between. As Thanksgiving is here upon us, we all have things to be thankful for, so do it, truly be thankful for what you have and have had this year. What does this mean? Maybe it means to volunteer your time; get outside your box; donate more; learn something new; pay it forward; greet others with a smile and “Hello”. Begin a new year, before the New Year.

I am truly thankful for my family, my friends, my business and clients, my health and the health of my loved ones. Though nothing is perfect, I choose to have a positive attitude and to live life and cherish each moment. I am thankful for who I am and for whose I am. Thank you, God!

It's not too late to book your little one for a Simplicity Session!

New! Simplicity Sessions

I've had many clients say they would love to bring their children in more often for photographs...this series of sessions is for you!

Okay, so I'm not normally a package girl, but I've set up a new series of sessions that will include packages. The purpose is to make it easier for you to come in for quick professional photographs more often without the fuss of a full-blown session, coming back for a proofing and order, etc. However, the details of the Simplicity Sessions are very specific.

• Sessions are set up for one person - usually between the age of 8mo - 12 years (infants must be able to sit well unsupported) ***Unless otherwise specified
• Sessions last 10 minutes and cost $10
• You'll see up to 10 poses from the session
• You'll select and order the same day, immediately following the session
• Packages start at $59 with lots of deals on specialty products, like the CK CLIP!
• Sessions run for a limited time only - so book early!

The first Simplicity Session is called "My Little Model".
The background is white with no props (unless it's a scarf, hat, or piece of clothing or jewelry).
We'll play fun music and have the fan blowing for a "modeling" session.

This is a sample corporate CK CLIP for Executive Transportation. Tim, with Executive, took 5 of their vehicles out to the airport for us to photograph. We then prepared the images and put the promotional CK CLIP together along with large wall portrai...ts for them to use at bridal shows - or anywhere else they want to advertise. The CK CLIP can be loaded on an iPhone, played as a DVD on a television, loaded onto a computer or onto facebook...or any other digital medium.

High School Seniors

It's been a great summer for senior high school portraits! We've seniors from all over the area and from Springfield as well. The ideas, clothes, poses and portraits have been awesome! Although the bulk of our senior portraits are taken in the summer, it's not too late to schedule your appointment. We have availability Labor Day weekend and into the school year as well. Here's a glimpse at only a few of the many senior portraits we've taken from the summer. As always, we love referrals and provide you with free prints for referrals...so if you know someone....send them our way! Thanks to all the wonderful seniors we've had the privilege to photograph this summer and over the years!!!

What a sweet couple!!! I had the honor this past weekend to be invited to photograph Rob & Samantha's wedding and reception. Rob and Sam met at Millikin University through friends. The closeness of their family and friends was evident throughout the day as their exceptionally talented vocalist friends performed at the ceremony and their aunt's cooked food and cake from the heart for the reception. Rob's soft touch to Sam's chin before kissing her and the look in Sam's eyes as she looked up at Rob talking at the reception say it all!!!
